Morgan and Colman are two of the most joyful, beautiful people. From Morgan’s vibrant smile to the way Colman looks at her, these two had me grinning as soon as I met them! Sometimes you just “click” with certain people, and I certainly clicked with them! I did a little giveaway for a FREE engagement session at the end of last year and guess who won?! Yep! These two! Morgan entered the giveaway and explained that despite having a long distance relationship for many of their years, they’ve remained together and strong. Colman made it clear when they were Seniors in High School that he wanted to be in her life and pursue her romantically and they’ve been together ever since!! …. ahhh I’ll let you read what she wrote!!:

Although our lives ran parallel for years before we met, Colman & I eventually met our junior year of high school, where we bonded over our passion for music. From the first time I spent time with him, long before there was any romantic interest, I admired the respect & grace he showed to each person he encountered. I knew from the beginning that he was an incredible guy.
On New Year’s Day in 2013, as seniors in high school, Colman sat me down and very honestly (& a little nervously) let me know how he felt about me. Being the realist in our relationship, I reminded him: “Colman, we’re moving to different cities in 7 months and going to different colleges. What are we gonna do about that?” Without hesitation, Colman looked deep into eyes and said, “I hope this doesn’t creep you out, but to be honest with you, Morgan, I have a feeling that we’re going to make it through college & distance.”
And to be honest, it totally did creep me out. I’m a skeptic by nature, but Colman has this incredible ability to see what God is doing and run towards it without a doubt. His faith is so unwavering, and that’s another quality of his that I adore. And it turns out that he was right! Seven different cities, a total 1593 miles apart, and almost 4 years later, our relationship has been sustained through faith, trust, and a lot of oil changes. God has been so faithful to provide the perfect complement, biggest fan, and best friend to be my future husband.”
How precious is that?! These two amaze me!! The city of Mobile made the perfect backdrop to capture Morgan + Colman and all that they are !!
