We met in Macon, Georgia on a glowly Friday afternoon. After a six hour road trip from Mobile to Macon, I was beyond excited to meet both Amanda and Cheneir. Road trips are a favorite of mine, and so is meeting new people! As we adventured through the park, these two told me more of their story.
It all started in 2007 when both Amanda and Cheneir were still in high school. That young, high school love blossomed into what it is today- and now they’re getting married! They’re proposal story is all too precious. Cheneir had purchased the engagement ring and had been waiting for the perfect time to pop the question. One morning, when they were about to leave on a trip, Amanda got a little to close to the ring’s hiding spot. In a panic, Cheneir grabbed it and jumped under the bed! Wondering what was going on, Amanda stared quizzically at her boyfriend until he came out from under the bed. Then, a mist a few nervous chuckles and tender kisses, Cheneir asked Amanda to be his.
And she said yes!
A six hour road trip was well worth photographing these two!
