Beachside Engagement Session in Fairhope Alabama | Kaitlin + Ricky

There are specific moments we remember about others.  Whether it’s how we met them, or the way they make us feel, these moments make up our memory.

One of the first times I remember seeing Ricky and Kaitlin, was at a concert, dancing.  I was the photographer for the event, running around trying to get the most perfect angle of the performer on stage.  Suddenly, the musician encouraged the men in the room to bring their lady up front and dance with them during his next song.  As the music started playing, I sped to the front to find a handful of couples who had jumped on the opportunity to hold their loved ones close.  Ricky and Kaitlin were one of the first couples to catch my eye.  So smooth on the dance floor, they didn’t slowly sway like the other couples.  A few dips, twirls and turns made Kaitlin’s eyes sparkle, and Ricky grin as they danced together.  It was the sweetest sight.

Now, almost four years later, these two are getting MARRIED!

Kaitlin’s eyes still sparkle the way they did that night, and Ricky’s grin still flashes in it’s charming way when these two are together.  It’s the sweetest sight!  These two have such an adventurous and life-giving spirit in their relationship with one another!  It’s so easy to see why photographing their engagement session was SO much fun!

Gah! I just love these two!  I cannot WAIT to photograph their wedding in CANADA this summer!!
