Spring Floral + Carpe Diem Engagement Session | Meredyth + Miles
Their first date was at Carpe Diem, a local coffee shop in the heart of Mobile, Alabama. Nervous, Meredyth arrived a few minutes early. Here eyes searched the room to find the perfect table. After sitting at one for a few moments, she quickly moved to another beside her. After a few more minutes she moved again… and then again.. The aroma of Coffee the air as she tucked herself into a more quiet corner and waited. Miles arrived, with his charming smile and handsome features. They both got coffee and as the minutes passed by, Meredyth’s nervousness melted away.
Knowing the first date, or first encounter of my couples is always one of my favorite stories. When two people first meet, there are just endless possibilities! Meredyth and Miles are two of the most genuine, servant hearted and gracious people I have come to serve in this business. Full of life and a sweet, tender love for each other, it has been such a treat getting to know them!
Carpe Diem Coffee
Meredyth + Miles wanted their engagement session to intentionally display who they are and how they love each other. From recreating their first date at Carpe Diem, to capturing Meredyth’s crinkle nosed laugh, we did just that! The Spring weather made it’s warm appearance just in time for the day these two made their way to Mobile for their engagement session. The blooms and blossoms of Mobile displayed their bright colors in a gorgeous display that left me in awe (Just wait until you scroll down to see what I mean!!).
Meredyth and Miles plan on getting married in a quaint little church right outside of Montgomery, Alabama in June. So stay tuned for their most glorious wedding day! Until then, the images from their beautiful engagement session are for you below! Coffee and fresh florals might just be my new favorite Engagement Session combination! Isn’t Meredyth’s crinkled nosed laugh is the CUTEST!?This ring…. golly it’s a beauty! It was actually a gift to Miles’ mom from his dad. Now, it serves as their engagement ring and a continuation of their family legacy.Carpe Diem is such a favored spot in Mobile– love this place! So timeless… These Camellias!!! LOOK at them! And this Japanese Magnolia sure covered the ground with it’s gorgeous purple petals! Love love love So lovely!!
Meredyth + Miles, I’m grateful for you! AND, I can’t WAIT for June!
