I love being creative.
I love making fun little projects.
I LOVE crafting.
So when I stumbled upon (no pun intended) this adorable project to make homemade coasters, I couldn’t resist trying them. They make the perfect little gifts! AND they’re super cheap (perfect for a poor college kid like myself)!
Only $.16 a piece for the tile [plain ole white bathroom tile from Lowes], $1 for 4 pieces of colorful fun scrapbook paper, $.15 for the felt & $7 for the acrylic spray gloss (I already had the modge podge which is usually $8). I bought mysupplies in bulk so I could make them all year round. Who WOULDN’T like these cute lil things?!
The project itself is super easy as well. Simply hot glue a square piece of felt to the bottom of the tile, modge podge on a square piece of scrapbook paper to the top, let it dry, & then seal it with the acrylic spray 🙂
I was a little detailed on these and gave them to my friend who owns a small fashion boutique. She ADORED them!
Thanks so much to Two Girls Being Crafty for sharing this awesome craft! Try it & let me know how they turn out!
xoxo
