I was never one to plan my wedding when I was little. I actually didn’t even really think about it until Pinterest came along (a blessing & a curse- PRAISE HIM). Instead, when girls would talk about their wedding day, I would ask them about their dress and I would immediately start drawing. Yes, drawing. I had this CRAZY desire around ages 8 & 9 that I wanted to design wedding and bridesmaid dresses.
Somewhere between being in elementary and starting high school I became enfatuated with the wedding day process. It thrilled me that so many vendors, ideas, and dreams came together for one day to make it the most important day in a woman’s life. As I got older, and high school rolled around, I dreamed of catering weddings. I loved to bake- and I loved weddings- so obviously I was supposed to cater them!
The more enchanted I became with weddings, the more I knew I wanted to be a part of them. I wanted to be a part of making a woman’s dreams come true. The way of making that dream come true has changed over the years. From drawing wedding dresses, to wanting to cater weddings, to now, photographing them in their entirety.
That part of me has never died, and probably never will.
And I am perfectly fine with that.
