Diane + Derek | A Southern Country Engagement

Derek grinned and let his eyes wash over the details of Diane. Her smile, the way her eyes sparkled when she looked at him, her button nose and the hundreds of tiny details that a first glance would miss. Somehow though, his gaze on her always felt like the first. Electric adrenaline pulsed through him as he wrapped his arms around her. He would never stop loving that feeling: the rush of finding someone who loved you just as much as you loved them.

Diane + Derek’s love story began in high school. Young and free, they attended Prom together, fell for each other, and now, years later, they’re getting MARRIED! We adventured all over a sweet and southern farm property to photograph their engagement session– and I was swooning! From Diane’s joy-filled glow to Derek’s sweet look he gave her time and time again, to the sparkly ring on Diane’s left hand–everything about these two radiated love and joy!
