Sometimes you just know.
And Josh, Josh knew.
It was love at first sight- literally.
Josh saw Cary on the first day of music theory class and instantly he thought: “I’ve got to get to know her better,”
Which quickly turned into: “I’ve got to ask her out,”
Which then became: “I’m going to marry this girl.”
It didn’t take long for Josh to know that Cary was the one.
The magic continued as they got to know each other. Josh fell in love with the way Cary came alive in her love for others, and the way she had a mysterious fierceness about her that he couldn’t describe. She was completely out of his league and yet he could never get her out of his mind.
For Cary- it was almost magical. Josh was the first person Cary could be completely crazy with. Laughter came effortlessly when they were together, and he instantly complimented her love for outrageous adventure. Josh knew what he believed, and was strong in knowing what he wanted out of life- and Cary couldn’t help but be attracted to him and his heart.
Cary distinctly remembers the moment when she first realized she loved Josh. They were in the car driving, when Josh played “A Whole New World” from the Aladdin soundtrack, and asked Cary to sing along. They belted the lyrics, laughing the whole way through…
and that’s when Cary “just knew”.
Josh + Cary not only share a love for each other, but also a love of all things Disney. Disney World is literally their most favorite place on earth, so it was most appropriate for Josh to propose there! I remember the day Josh called me – beyond excited for the day to come. He explained his plans and we tried to work out a plan for me to secretly fly down to Orlando and photograph the proposal. Though our schedules did not match up, that didn’t stop Josh from suceeding in one of the most adorable proposals I’ve heard about yet! What girl wouldn’t love a scavenger hunt around the magical world of Disney with the people closest to her heart?!
Exactly.
Needless to say Josh + Cary are perfect for each other. I am so thrilled to be a part of their story, not only now, but also on their BIG DAY in August of 2014!
