Mary Laura looked at me sheepishly and confessed that she was nervous. It is during times like these that I adore my job. I smiled at her, and invited her to take a seat behind my camera. There was nothing to be nervous about. I smiled to myself knowing that the opportunity to capture her beauty and grace was in my hands. Capturing people authentically is my goal with each and every photograph I take. Giving my clients confidence, and allowing them to feel comfortable enough to fully be themselves is such a great and rewarding responsibility!
It is no doubt that Mary Laura is stunning. Her images speak for themselves. Isn’t she captivating? These images will be used for future auditions! Mary Laura is an incredible performer and vocalist. She is a lover of life- and lives it to the fullest. Her heart for others overflows into everything she does, and her personability is filled with intentionality, peace and sweet energy! I loved capturing this wonderful woman. She even let me experiment with a few different angles and set ups- this session quickly turned from standard head shots into a session that hinted at glamour. I can thank this sweet girl for encouraging my desire to grow as a photographer as well !
