We’re not blood family, but we might as well be. I’m sure you have people in your life that you just feel connected with. As if they’re chosen just to do life with you. Time or distance may separate you, but when you’re back together it’s as if nothing has changed.
That’s what I have with this incredible group of people!
It’s indescribable, really. Half of them don’t even speak any English, and few are fluent in it. My Italian is summed up in only a few words and phrases, most of them being words like “pasta” and “pesto” (don’t hate !). But somehow, it doesn’t matter. We’re still connected by laughter and hand gestures, facial expressions and charades. It’s a beautiful, wonderful thing!
I am SO thankful that my Italians family is here, in Virginia. They will be visiting for the next few weeks and I am beyond excited!
The BEST part is that they’re here to fellowship and do missions work, how cool is that? America needs missionaries too!
Take time to love on the ones you do life with, friends– They are such a gift!
