I have a tendency to fall in love with people, places and things. For every pinterest quote about whimsy, adventure and travel, there’s me, writing it in my journal romancing about all there is to see.
Nashville is just one of those places you could discover again and again. It’s filled to the brim with life. From it’s street corner musicians to it’s restaurants filled with a vast varieties of tastes and sounds, Nashville has a little bit of everything.
Which is probably why so many people love it so much.
One of my sweet friends, Kathleen, moved to Nashville with her hubby a little less than a year ago. For months we’ve been planning for when I would come visit them and see their new home. The day finally came and our time together was SO much fun.
Sometimes, you just need to go somewhere with a friend, and just be. So, that’s what Kathleen and I did. We filled each day with the most that we could, and enjoyed each other through each part of it.
I didn’t take my camera everywhere we went, but I did take it to the Pedestrian Bridge. Early one morning, Kathleen and I decided we wanted to watch the sun rise over the city’s skyline. We woke up before dawn and drove downtown and what we saw was absolutely beautiful. It’s amazing what a simple as a sunrise can do for the soul.
This gorgeous red head is literally changing the world.
