Hurricane Sandy has brought the cold weather, intense winds and has cancelled school for my younger sister and my mom (who teaches kindergarten). In our time together, mom got the great idea to do some early Christmas shopping– but not for us, or even for anyone we know– she went shopping for Operation Christmas Child. It’s an event we do every year. We fill wrapped shoe boxes with small toys, trinkets & fun things for kids. Operation Christmas Child then takes our toy filled boxes and distributes them to children all over the world, while also telling them about Jesus Christ. It’s a small way to make a big impact.
