I love that you know what you want & you are unabashedly yourself. You sparkle with joy & are incredibly tough. You tumble with your brothers & yet are incredibly sweet with your baby sister. You already want to be a momma , & it’s the cutest thing watching you. I can’t believe you’re TWO!

I’m in my birthday party throwing era. With four littles, we have a birthday every few months & I absolutely love a reason to celebrate. This year, I tried something new & it was a dream come true: I threw myself a birthday party. 🥳 👒🌸🌻🎂🍾

I wanted to throw a special dinner party in the garden, surrounded by the women who have grown with me & helped shape me here in Roanoke. We laughed, shared, clinked glasses & ate really good food.

The gift of being intentionally together was more than I could have asked for. Cheers to 33 & all that this year holds 🤍

All in all, there are few things that last forever.

Our family has grown through the gift of adoption ✨

It was never really on our radar to foster but when we lost two pregnancies , we thought “Why not?”. We had so much love to give & deeply desired to step out in faith. To be a place of safety for a child for a season felt so right to us. Little did we know that God had two bundles of joy instore for us.

Through Foster care, God gave us two of the most incredible kiddos. Our season with them will be forever & I am so grateful to be their momma. Our story is my favorite 🫶🏻 !!!!!

God always does so much more with what we have when we give it to him. 🤍

Faith Marvelee you are our miracle. You are the baby our family needed. Watching your birth mom give life to you was one of the most magical experiences. You radiate joy in everything you do. You’re the most content little tot ! Your laugh is contagious & once you start, you don’t stop until everyone is laughing with you. I adore being your momma. I come alive when you sparkle. I’ve known Helen for years. She was the flower girl in my wedding & I have been overjoyed to watch her grown & shine. Her mom, Miranda, and I are dear friends. When Miranda asked if she could come visit to help change diapers, hang with my family & bring her kids too I was THRILLED. We’ve spent the week laughing, crying, sharing & being together. They travelled 1600 miles round trip to be here and it has been the SWEETEST visit!!
We spent yesterday capturing Helen’s Senior Portraits and it was absolutely MAGICAL. Helen, I am SO proud of you. You are such a gem and it is an honor to watch you become such an incredible young woman. CONGRATS on your FULL ride to South Alabama!!!! I love you to the moon and back. xo
