The Fochtmann's | Montevallo Family Session

Fall always makes me crave family time. Maybe it’s the way that crisp apples smell like home, or how the chill in the air makes me want to play catch with my dad. Either way, Fall and Family coincide with each other in my mind.

I arrived in Montevallo, Alabama, just as the leaves began to turn. The deep greens, and golden yellows of summer were struggling to hold on, and bursts of red orange color started to speckle in their place. The sun began to make it’s final dance across the sky as the Fochtmann’s and I ventured through their Family farm. There is a gift to living life with love laced joy– and these folks give it freely. They cherish life, and each other. With two gorgeous daughters and four hearts of gold, you will easily see why I adored photographing their family!
