Pursuit 31-Today, I leave good ole Mobile, Alabama to travel North to Rome, Georgia for the Pursuit 31 Conference! Everything in me is thrilled at this incredible opportunity to cultivate a business centered on authentic relationships, brave leaps of faith, and ultimately- Jesus Christ himself! If you would like a TINY TASTE of what Pursuit 31 will look like, go ahead and cyber stalk these lovely ladies, they will leave you utterly inspired !! :
Bianca OlthoffJag Football – I went to my FIRST college football game last week! I know I know, to some of you that may not seem like a big deal, and to others, you’re wondering why I’m in my mid twenties and haven’t been sooner! Growing up in Virginia, I was never fully exposed to college Football the way the South does it. Lemme explain. One of the first things I was asked when I moved to Alabama was: “War Eagle? or Roll Tide?” Sheepishly, I have to admit: I had no idea what everyone was talking about (and if you read this and don’t have a clue- email me and I’ll hook you up with the down low ;). Sure, I’ve been to football games. But college Football in the South is different. It reminds me of a mixture between the Gladiator games and a Taylor Swift Concert. It’s thrilling, and you can’t help but get energized from the atmosphere. I got to see South Alabama play against Mississippi State and I loved every second of it! Well, other than the fact that South Alabama lost…
Fall- If I could change ANYTHING about Mobile, Alabama, I would bless it with the opportunity to experience a crisp, color season of Fall every year. I’m sad to say Mobile has no idea what it’s missing. Don’t get me wrong- it does get a little cooler, and the leaves do change- but it only lasts for a short while and it’s nothing like beautiful VA! I am SO thankful though that my favorite season starts this week- Ima be rolling in the Autumn scented candles and pumpkin flavored goodies.
Sam + Adam and #TheMoatsWonderfulTime – Last, but certainly not least, two of my sweet friends tied the knot this weekend!!!! I have to say it was one of the most beautiful and incredible worship experiences I have ever been a part of! Sam + Adam are two people who fervently seek after the Lord. The are genuine, selfless and absolutely in love with each other and with Christ. Their wedding was an intentional and intimate reflection of him…and it was absolutely breath taking.
These two have been such wonderful friends to me and I was so endlessly blessed to stand alongside them on their wedding day! Thankfully, I got to switch things up this weekend and be a bridesmaid! I left my camera at home- but if you would like to see more, check out the ever fabulous Michelle Taulbee Photography!
Have a Happy Monday!
