I’m turning 25 today. 25 on the 25th– it’s my golden year. So of COURSE the way I celebrate has to be golden too 😉 In a sentimental post on Instagram last night, I poured my hear out about what I was feeling the night before my big day:
I want 25 to be my most intentional year yet. The year where I dig my hands deep into the dirt of life & plant seeds that sprout into something magnificent. I want fear to be the fuel that motivates me to do things I never dreamed, & to ignite parts of me I’ve hidden & allowed guilt & shame to settle upon. I don’t want to wait any longer for my dreams to become a reality- no. I want to charge forward & pursue them passionately & love greatly along the way. I want to fail; but I don’t want failure to be something that stops me in my tracks. I want the success of discovering an end to be a celebrated victory, not a stopping point. I want to love so hard that people are left feeling understood, SEEN, cherish, empowered- as if Jesus himself was in the room with them. I want to give everything I have & discover I’m more rich because of if. 25, I want these next 365 to bring me more to life than ever before.
Now that 25 is here- I thought I’d share a little of the celebrating with YOU! One night this week, a group of girlfriends and I got together at this adorable little restaurant. We all buzzed in conversation, and when it was time to hug goodbye, I gave out these cute little chocolate covered champagne bottles as party favors! I think I had more fun making & giving them, they they’ll have indulging in them 😉 Regardless– they are SUPA easy to make, and so stinkin’ cute! These pineapple party favors were the perfect way to celebrate my golden year of 25 with my sweet friends!
Everything you’ll need is pictured above! I ordered the chocolates on Amazon & got the little champagne bottles at Walmart.
Cut your yellow tissue into squares. It helped to evenly place the chocolates around the bottom of the bottle, before gluing, so I could see how many I wanted for each bottle!I didn’t like the brown wrappers– so I took them off 🙂 annnnddd I might’ve enjoyed a few in the process…I glued my chocolates like you see above. I’ve seen others that are ONLY covered with chocolate– but lets be real– that’s a lot of $$. SO, the more inexpensive version is the one I created. The tissue keeps the pineapples cute, while saving you some moo-lah 😉Crumble your yellow squares of tissue and clue the bottle of your crumbled square onto the bottle around the chocolates! So cute!!Once your bottle is covered in yellow, it’s time to add the green top! Fold a piece of green tissue accordion style and cut it like you see in the images above- like a leaf.Wrap your greenery around the top of the bottle and hot clue it on.Then, add some yarn to cover up where the yellow meets the green!Ta-DA! You’re done!Happy Saturday! Make sure to eat some cake 😉 !!
