This last week has been a whirlwind! For all of my type A followers out there, it has probably really thrown you off that I’m blogging on a Saturday instead of my usual Monday/Thursday routine! For that, I am so sorry- my type A tendencies have been freaking out too! But, finals week is FINALLY over and my semester packed with 21 credit hours of upper level college classes is done!

Today, I graduate from the University of Mobile with a Bachelor of Science degree in History Education. 
I went to school to be a history teachers and will graduate with owning a business and having more dreams than I know what to do with! My plans after today are to go home to sweet Virginia and enjoy my friends and family there. Life is such a beautiful adventure. I have so many incredible thins that are on their way! When August rolls around, I will be back in Mobile, Alabama for a semester of Student Teaching.
… and after that…. who knows?!
As I look bad over these last three semesters I can’t help but grin. Never had I ever imagined myself to move to Mobile, Alabama- until I did. And now I can’t imagine spending this last year and a half anywhere else! The South has charmed me and romanced me… and I do believe I am utterly smitten.
Graduating allows for a season to end and a new season to begin. I love new beginnings. Though endings are bittersweet, the anticipation and excitement of what is to come is so much sweeter. 
The best is yet to come… and I couldn’t have done it without you. Yes, you! You reading this. So, thank you. Thank you for doing life with me and for sharing in the stories, the memories and the moments. Thank you for the encouragement, and the support. Chasing my dreams has often seemed like chasing the wind- but chase them I have, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.
Happy Saturday, here’s hoping to me not tripping as I walk across the stage today 🙂
