If you’ve been following my adventures on social media at all, you’ve probably noticed by now that within the last 2 months I’ve done a LOT of traveling. Needless to say, I have no complaints about that ;). I have absolutely loved visiting new cities, meeting up with sweet friends, and seeing new sights!
One of my adventures just so happened to take me all the way to the Pacific Northwest!
I serve with a ministry called Delight and Be. Delight and Be is a Christian community for young women who have a heart for the creative arts and I absolutely adore it! A few weeks ago, we had our Spring Retreat in the gorgeous mountain studded, and german influenced area of Leavenworth, Washington. Our retreats are specifically crafted for young women to rest in who Jesus is, as they seek to honor him creatively. We create experiences that educate, inspire and equip creative, business and spiritual growth! These retreats are SUCH an amazing experience. I wish I had something like this when I was a teenager! What creative young woman wouldn’t want to be surrounded by the creative arts and be encouraged to use her passions and talents for the Lord?! And in SUCH a beautiful location–just LOOK at that view! 
This year we were able to do so much within our retreat. I was SO abundantly blessed to speak, teach and do life with the 23 teenage attendees as well as the other 9 leaders. Over 20 states nationwide were represented within our retreat this year and I was BLOWN away at what God did. The girls got to ask business questions, life questions, and express themselves in a fresh way. We worshiped, we studied God’s word, we dreamed and we grew. We had photographers, calligraphers, videographers, culinary enthusiasts, graphic designers, writers, and aspiring musicians. How wonderful is that?! Needless to say, with all of those gorgeous girls, we had endless photo session to document!

Each girl got a shirt with a word that they picked. This word was chosen as something they wanted to aspire to be in 2015. A couple of the girls coordinated and invested in tulle skirts to pair their shirts with!
We were able to do a total of EIGHT stylized sessions ! A stylized session is a “pretend” photo session that is styled a specific way. For example, we were able to style a bride, a bride and groom, an engaged couple, a ballerina, a family, and more!
These two !! Tahlia and David were fabulous as they modeled as our engaged couple! AND they are engaged! So fun!
Our girls loved these sessions! They were able to spend time growing and learning without pressure!
How gorgeous is Ashley? Loved our models! SO thankful for them!

Ohhhhh I’m tearing up as I type this. I wish there were adequate words to describe my heart for this special group of women. Jesus gives only the best gifts– and they are it! I love you girls!!!!
