The Pikes | Married

Josh and Kayla sparkled with anticipation as each readied themselves for the day.  Long hair was curled, and cuff links we’re donned as each tried to contain the joy that drifted in and through each moment.

Today, two would become one.

I remember when Josh first contacted me, asking me if I would be available to photograph his proposal to sweet Kayla.  His excitement could not be contained as he explained his plan for the proposal.  Ever since that moment his joy to share the rest of his life with his one true love has only increased and deepened.  I can’t even begin to tell you how fortunate I feel to have been able to be a small part of their story.  Josh and Kayla not only fell in love, but they chose to walk in it, and continue to do so each and every day.

Josh and Kayla shared stolen glances at each other all throughout their Wedding Day.  Eyes sparkled and words weren’t necessary.  Their guests enjoyed a small, intimate ceremony and reception- lacking nothing and overflowing with intentionality.  The day was nothing short of perfection.  From the perfect weather, to the rustic colors of Fall, and the overall warmth of the day’s stress free flow, everyone agreed that the only negative was that it ended far too quickly! Kayla gifted these cuff links to her husband to be!  How fun!  I just love Kayla’s ring!  How flawless is Kayla? So timeless!Kayla! I absolutely LOVE this one! Such joy! Then came the time for their “First Look”! Josh’s reaction was priceless…..not a single dry eye.These two… I just love them!Josh and Kayla not only wanted a first look with each other, but with their bridal party as well!So fun seeing everyone’s reaction!Such a stunning bridal party ! Brotherly fixin’s!Kayla’s sweet momma walked her down the aisle- and yes, it was another tear jerker! Married! I just LOVED their cake!

So much joy!  Such a perfect way to start the week!
