Isn’t Hillary magnetic? It amazes me that a week ago I had never met her before & today I feel like she is a long lost sista-friend!!! The BEST part? We met at Walmart in Wenatchee, Washington. YEP!! Walmart. Literally.
I was strolling down the aisle designated for kitchen and culinary perfection. The Pioneer Women’s newest fall line caught my eye and I was sucked in. So sucked in that I had to excuse myself when I bumped into a young momma and her adorable little baby girl. My friend Kristin and I instantly started cooing and asking all the typical baby things…
What’s her name?
How old is she?
Where the heck do you get those cute clothes she’s wearing?!
(Do they come in my size?)
After a little while we extended hands and introduced ourselves. 45 minutes later we were bonding over the fact that all three of us were into photography and loved Jesus (two of my favorite things).
We invited Hillary over for tea that next day and after three more hours of bonding, my heart was just filled the brim.
This last week, I’ve been blessed enough to be in Washington for a special project with one of my favorite ministries Delight and Be. Little did I know that I’d meet this sweet lady and her precious little one, photograph them in the crisp morning mountain air and fan girl over how fun it was. Hillary, her sweet baby, Remy and I ventured 2 minutes away to capture these gorgeous images. We captured head shots of Hillary and then snapped some dreamy candids of her and her daughter, Remy. The side of the road serves us so very well. Sage brush might just be my new favorite thing. Oh, and Remy, she is definitely a new fave. She is just the stinkin’ cutest!
